Deer Couple Plaque
This lovely image showcases a buck and doe standing by what appears to be a pond or lake. The doe bends down for a drink of water while the buck stays alert to his surroundings. Ironically enough, he won’t stay with her for long once she is no longer in heat, and he will keep her away from all other bucks during this timeframe. Once the mating period is done, he will usually go off somewhere else and mate with a different doe on the next rut. However, for the time being, this image features a lovely couple frozen in time together.
