Slaying the Dragon
Step aside Game of Thrones fans, a three-headed dragon symbolizes more than just the Targaryen name. All throughout history, there have been several references to such a creature. In Ancient Greek legends, the offspring of Typhon and Echidna was a Hyrdra, or a multiple-headed dragon/snake. Again, in Greek Mythology, Hades, the god of the underworld, has a three-headed dog named Cerberus. Three-headed creatures have been in stories that pre-date most religions. No evidence has ever been uncovered that vouches for their existance…but they make for epic stories. Dragons also make for epic wood carvings so grab your dragon lover one today!
