The Phoenix

The Phoenix comes from Greek mythology and is described as a large bird that could burst into flames and be reborn from the ashes. Some poets stated that the phoenix had a close relationship with the Sun and could live for several thousands of years. The bird itself is commonly associated with rebirth or renewal, and even though it’s of Greek origin, several other cultures have something similar to the phoenix that shares many of its traits and characteristics. The symbolism of this great bird alone is a great reason to add it to your decor!
