Low amounts of pigment can be used due to the high tinting properties. 279762220 723150235491170 6525183239868463831 n compressedGloPoxy is a specially formulated glow-in-the-dark epoxy coating that uses only the best photo luminescent components to maximize brightness. The combination of premium ingredients, a high ratio, and the EcoPoxy resin system results in the glow that is the brightest and lasts the longest in the dark. EcoPoxy chemists incorporated a suspension system that holds tightly packed glow-in-the-dark particles. GloPoxy is created using a unique color-balancing process that prevents color shifts when using backlighting in place of standard white lighting.

Bright light is converted to energy by GloPoxy. It releases that energy as a bright light when left in the dark and glows for hours. GloPoxy allows for endless repetitions of the light absorption and release processes. GloPoxy can be charged by any light source. To achieve the greatest glow, high wattage bulbs, LED lights, and various ultraviolet and visible light spectrums are required. It doesn’t have any fillers or impurities that could impede glow. For both indoor and outdoor use, it is UV stable, robust, chemical, water, and abrasion-resistant. Plaster, metal, wood, plastic, composites, masonry, concrete, and fabric are just a few of the many surfaces it adheres well to. GloPoxy can be rolled, brushed, or sprayed on.

GloPoxy is known for its innovative products that allow people to safely navigate in the dark or during emergency situations. In order to keep this capability, there must be markings on floors providing direction towards exits and staircases so they can find their way out quickly without assistance from others who may not know where you are going!

Some EcoPoxy GlowPoxy benefits include:

  • The longest glow-in-the-dark duration is achieved by GloPoxy.
  • GloPoxy’s light absorption and release processes can be continuously repeated.
  • GloPoxy will be charged by any light source.
  • Low VOCs, Low Odor, and Non-Toxic
  • UV stable, strong, and resistant to chemicals, water, and abrasion for both indoor and outdoor use.
  • 100% solids content for stronger construction

Color SetsEcoPoxy Metallic Color Pigments are beautiful, interference colors that can be added to EcoPoxy resins to produce a wide range of metallic effects. They are made from mica and titanium dioxide and are suspended in EcoPoxy’s UVPolyester Resin. Metallic pigments should be mixed thoroughly into the resin before adding any hardener. How to use EcoPoxy.

Using EcoPoxy is easy! Simply mix the two parts together at a ratio of two-to-one by weight or volume. Then pour the mixture into your mold or onto your surface and let it cure for 24 hours.

Frequently Asked Questions About EcoPoxy.

How long does it take for EcoPoxy to harden?

Depending on the temperature during cure, this typically takes 7 to 30 days. Epoxy-based products might seem to be dry on the surface, or appear to be cured, but they might not have fully reacted all through the paint film.

How is an EcoPoxy cleaned?

Throw the pieces of peeled resin in the garbage. Clean your mixing container with acetone or alcohol and paper towels while wearing gloves. In hot, soapy water, wash the container yet again. Once it has completely dried, the container will be clean and ready for new resin.

Why isn't my epoxy setting up properly?

Your resin won’t harden if the ratio of hardener to resin is off. Your resin may not cure properly if your workspace’s ambient temperature isn’t ideal or if your resin mixture has been contaminated.

Why did the epoxy I was mixing turn white?

The resin occasionally develops crystallization and/or gel, which causes the resin to become cloudy. The resin may have frozen during shipping or storage, which can result in the white or crystallized product.

Can epoxy be poured over already-cured epoxy?

Can I reapply epoxy to already-cured epoxy? Yes. Because a chemical bond is now impossible because the epoxy has hardened, a mechanical bond is necessary. This merely means that the subsequent coat must be applied following a light sanding of the cured epoxy; the first coat should have a matt, nearly white surface.

Can epoxy hardener be used on its own?

Only when combined with an epoxy hardener can they cure properly. If applied to a floor, the resin would remain almost indefinitely liquid without the hardener and be unable to transform into a durable flooring system.
