Bison & Calf

A perfect gift for a nurturing mother. Calves nurse for roughly 8 months before they’re weaned off and shortly after a year goes by, they’re on their own. Obviously, and thankfully, humans do things a little different, but it’s important to let Mom know that we still think about her because we’ll always be calves to them no matter how old and independent, we get. Even if she’s not big on Bison, she’ll certainly appreciate the message. This carving displays a calf that hasn’t moved on from its mother yet, and the mother cautiously keeps watch of her young.
